Simple treatment to enhance and repair your smile
If you have a tooth that needs a quick and effective repair, or you are looking to change the appearance of one or more teeth for a beautifully flawless smile, composite sculpting could be the perfect treatment for you. It is simple and highly aesthetic, able to rebuild and reshape teeth in a single appointment.

Why have composite bonding?
Composite bonding is a completely pain free and very natural looking way to restore a chipped or broken tooth. It can also be used to correct misshapen teeth and brighten discoloured teeth that are affecting the look of your smile.
The composite material is colour matched to your existing teeth for a perfect blend, or can be used in a whiter shade if preferred. It is built directly onto your tooth, and no preparatory treatment, impressions or removal of your tooth structure is needed. When your short treatment is over, your tooth will look as if there was never any damage or discolouration at all.

What does the treatment involve?
Initially, we talk to you about how we will repair and reshape your tooth, or use the composite material to enhance your smile. Your treatment takes place in just one appointment.
We carefully clean and dry your tooth, and apply a special acidic gel to ensure the composite material will bond effectively. We build up the composite on your tooth in layers, gradually achieving the correct shape and appearance.
Using a blue UV light, we harden the composite onto your tooth, and it sets immediately. We then polish your tooth to make sure it blends beautifully into your smile.
