What happens when you refer your patient to us?

Contact your patient as soon as possible to arrange a suitable initial consultation and notify you when we have done so.

Discuss all treatment options with your patient and provide them with a treatment plan and estimate of all involved costs.

Carry out the treatment for which they have been referred, and any required further reviews, where appropriate.

Keep you informed of the treatment progress and any changes to the treatment plan.

Return your patient to you for their routine dental care.

All patients who have been referred to Enhance Dental Centre will be returned to you on completion of treatment. You will be kept fully informed throughout your patient’s progress both at the consultation stage and following treatment. If your patient has been referred for consultation advice you will be contacted as soon as possible regarding this advice.

If you have any concerns or questions or would like to discuss any aspect of your patient’s care with the specialist please do not hesitate to contact the practice.

*Please inform patients that Periodontal referrals with the specialist will be charged at a fee of £185.00. Other initial consultations are free of charge but fees may be incurred if specialised radiographs are required (CBCT scan or lateral ceph scan).
